Problem Note 57471: After you change host names using the SAS® Deployment Manager, you are unable to log on to SAS® Environment Manager

DetailsAboutRate It

After changing host names with the SAS Deployment Manager, you might not be able to log on to SAS Environment Manager, and this error occurs:

You cannot access this application. Only members of the following groups can access this application: * SAS Environment Manager Super Users * SAS Environment Manager Guests * SAS Environment Manager App Server Tier Users Membership for those groups is managed in SAS Management Console.

The problem occurs because the SAS Environment Manager identity-service.properties file has not been updated.

Workaround

To work around the problem, do the following:

  1. On the middle-tier server where SAS Environment Manager is configured, navigate to SAS-configuration-directory\Lev1\Web\SASEnvironmentManager\server-5.8.0-EE\hq-engine\hq-ser ver\webapps\ROOT\WEB-INF\classes
  2. Open the identity-service.properties file in a text editor. Change the url.base property value to the new host name.
  3. Save the file.
  4. Restart the SAS Environment Manager server.
  5. Now log on to SAS Environment Manager.
